A 1930s Solid Wood Cabinet with Drawers

Probably one of the most useful pieces of furniture you could find.

Not only is this a great size (see measurements), but with its double doors and double drawers above, there's more storage than it's size suggests.

Made from solid wood and painted in a dusky pink, this would look perfect in a bathroom or as extra storage in a hallway. The top has been sanded back and waxed with clear beeswax to bring out the little dinks and scratches it has picked up over the years.

As with all my furniture restorations, this little cupboard has been sanded smooth, sealed and primed before any painting. Finally, the whole piece has received 2 coats of Polyvine dead flat varnish to seal and protect.

All good and ready for another 100 years of use.

The colouring and ageing techniques we use during the restoration process also add to the individual style.
