Solid Oak Antique Side Cupboard with Drawer

This is a stunning piece of original furniture lovingly restored to create a real standout showpiece in any room of the house.

The top has been sanded back to its natural oak and given 3 coats of Fiddes wax to create a wonderfully warm tone.
The rest of the cupboard has been painted in Annie Sloan Athenian Black and waxed with both clear and black wax to create a slight buffed sheen finish.
Finally it has been sealed with Polyvine to protect from minor scuffs and scrapes.

The original Brass hinges and drawer pulls have been lightly polished and two small brass knobs have been added to the front door to match.

The inside has been left in original condition but also given a coat of wax.

Please note that all our restored furniture is of a certain age and over the years has picked up knocks and scrapes which add to each piece's uniqueness. The colouring and ageing techniques we use during the restoration process also add to the individual style.
