Set of Four stunning 1930s Oak Chairs that I have lovingly painted and reupholstered and are in perfect condition. I have painted them with Annie Sloane's Aubusson Blue then double waxed and buffed the paintwork to give them a silky smooth feel and subtle matt finish. I then gave 2 coats of Polyvine to ensure they are protected further from little scratches.
The beautiful lattice type backs give them a really unique design.
Originally these had some quite questionable leather seats so I hand picked everything to get down to the bare wooden seats beneath and then added completely new fire retardant padding before choosing what I think is quite a fun fabric showing some very colourful Llamas prints on a pale cream background.
I had such fun painting these that I don't want to let them go but I literally don't have the room.
The seats are 45cm Wide across the front and 47cm from the floor. The overall chair height to the top of the backs is 85cm. Please note that all our restored furniture is of a certain age and over the years has picked up knocks and scrapes which add to each piece's uniqueness. The colouring and ageing techniques we use during the restoration process also add to the individual style.
