This is a larger than average Swedish copper cauldron dating from the 19th century. It has a fantastic shape and the handles either side are thick and solid. I have included as much detail as possible in the photos to show the lovely aged wear and patina. The bottom has a very fine hairline split approximately 5mm in length. It's too small to show in the photos but this would mean you would need to ensure you put a waterproof lining in the bottom if it is to be used inside the house as a planter. This would work equally well as a log or coal bucket next to the fireplace or outside in the garden with small plants.
