Painted Vintage Pembroke Table

A lovely little vintage Pembroke table with double drop leaf to the top and a small drawer to one end with a sturdy metal cup pull for opening.

There are castors to each leg making it very easy for moving around the room.

The top has been sanded smooth and darkened with 3 coats of dark wax to give it a lovely strong finish that is slightly buffed. The body and legs have been painted with 3 coats in a fine chalk paint, colour Tilton, over a protective undercoat. The entire piece has then been given subtle highlights and lowlights using clear and dark waxes adding to the table's originality. Finally it has been sealed with Polyvine to protect from minor scuffs and scrapes

Please note that all our restored furniture is of a certain age and over the years has picked up knocks and scrapes which add to each piece's uniqueness. The colouring and ageing techniques we use during the restoration process also add to the individual style.
